Ecostore USA contacted me a few months ago to try out some of their products. I was very excited to receive this email! I was sent three products to try:
Citrus Spray Cleaner, Front Loader Laundry Detergent, and Whitening powder.
Within two days the box arrived on my doorstep and I tore into it eagerly. I immediately started with all of the products. It was one time I was glad to have a big family that always has laundry for an excuse to use it!
The laundry detergent has become a staple in our house. We have a family of five, I’m doing laundry 4-5 days a week - and I still have some of this product left after 3 months! It’s gotten our clothes clean, freshsmelling, and not even my overly sensitive husband noticed the change!
The whitener gets frequent use - and works pretty well. Where I live there is a lot of iron in the water and clothes that we own that have been orange/yellow for a long time, and those clothes have remained so - but the NEW whites that weve gotten since we got the whitener have remained sparkling white!
But, my absolute favorite product of all has been the spray cleaner. I cannot get over how amazing this product is! It cut through layers upon layers of grease on my stove leaving it a sparkling white I hadn’t seen in ages! I use it daily, several times a day. The smell is pleasant, and it’s easy to use to clean up everything from grease to puppy piddle (when the new pup has a accident).
My efforts to become green have been baby steps all the way. After experiencing these products, my next step is to get more of them! The company has proven to ship fast, and the products are reasonably priced. I’m on my way over now to pick up more of my beloved citrus spray!
Now for the contest! I’m sure that’s what you’ve been waiting for, right? Well..

One thing about there site: they have a natural pet section! It’s so hard to find natural products for pets, so I was excited to see that!

What an awesome giveaway!!! I have been doing the baby steps towards being more green and this is an awesome chance to try something to see how well it works.
I read the article on what is green and appreciated how they taught you to know what is “green” and what isn’t. It’s much easier to buy something that has “green” slapped on the label than to actually read the label and find out what exactly your using. It makes me feel more conscious to read before assuming, ya know?
I Twittered your giveaway…too good to not share with others!
I also Stumbled it!
Andddd…..If I were to buy anything at the moment, or have the opportunity to test out I would go with the dish soap….or the laundry detergent. We are a family of five and dishes & laundry are the two constants in our daily lives. So either I would go for first.
Now I am off to blog about the giveaway!

I like what they said “By simply changing to the genuinely clean and green ecostore products, people were experiencing surprising and unexpected improvements in their health.” I believe in echo friendly items. And with our water here it is hard to get cloths clean.

I learned that their ecostore Dishwash Liquid does not contain toxic petrochemicals, phosphates, nitrates, EDTA (ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid), Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, TEA (triethanolamine), synthetic dyes or perfumes, which are found in standard washing products and can leave harmful chemical residues on your dishes and your skin. Thanks for the chance

They avoid of the use of these harmful chemicals:
# Parabens (preservatives some studies have connected to breast cancer)
# Glycols (organic solvents that can be passed from mother to fetus, and can affect the nervous system in high doses)
# Sodium lauryl sulfate (a foaming agent known to cause skin and eye irritation, and found in the majority of bubble baths, shampoos and shower gels)

I learned that No Nasty Chemicals™ is the foundation of the entire product line and philosophy of the ecostore.
April 25th, 2009 at 5:20 pm
I learned to be awayre of catchphrases including “naturally derived,” “from nature,” and “botanically inspired.” While they sound like they are green, they don’t indicate truly eco-friendly products.
April 25th, 2009 at 9:58 pm
i learned when searching for the real deal in “green” products be certain your household products indicate they are “90%-100% organic,” “non-toxic,” and indicate that all ingredients are listed.
April 26th, 2009 at 8:59 am
I learned this: “Our products also help to ensure value for the dollar for our customers. We know it can be expensive to buy natural or organic products but we’ve found a way to safely super-concentrate our formulations. Our super-concentrates means that a little really does go a long way - saving you money by cutting down significantly on cost per use.” So the concentrated formulas really save money.

I like the idea of the natural dishwashing liquid, since that’s a home cleaner I don’t know how to make myself- and it contains chemicals that actually touch stuff we eat on!
